RYA Yachtmaster Offshore Motor Cruising Practical Examination
Practical Examination lasting approx 8 to 10 hours.

| Course content | Candidates will set tasks to demonstrate their ability as skipper of an offshore motor yacht, including questions on collision avoidance, navigation, pilotage, meteorology and boat handling. |
| Ability after course | Can skipper an offshore motor cruiser by day or night. |
| Minimum duration | 8-12 hours for one candidate, 10-18 for two. |
